If your total family’s agricultural land is less than 4.94 acre then you can apply for the small marginal certificate.
If your total family’s agricultural land is greater than 4.94 acre then you are not eligible for the certificate.

How to get required details about the land?
First download the Patta/Chitta copy of your land. If you don’t know how to download patta chitta online then refer the below article.
For your reference, I have attached the sample Patta Chitta copy. Do you know? you can search and download Patta Chitta using only Patta number or Survey Number.
Note:- You have to input the land area in hectares. The land area mentioned in the Patta is hectacre.
If your land is listed under “நன்செய்” then choose land type as “Wet“. If your land listed under “புன்செய்” then choose “Dry“.
Finally, submit the form. It will take you to the documents page where you have to upload all the required documents in proper format.
That’s it. Finally, make the payment of Rs.60 online. You will get acknowledgment receipt. The small/marginal farmer certificate will be generated within 30 days after the approval from VAO.
Meanwhile, you can track the status of your application in tnesevai website. If VAO need any other extra documents or if VAO found any mistake in your application then your application will be rejected and returned to you.
You can find the application in “Retuned Application” section. Make the necessary changes and submit the application again. You don’t have to pay again.
